Glenn Callins

Was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on April 17, 1961 the son of the late Cleatus Elmer and Alma Josephine Bugg Callins.

Mr. Callins departed this life on February 5, 2007 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 45 years, 9 months and 19 days.

He is survived by one son, Joseph Glenn Callins of Savannah, Tennessee. 2 grandchildren, Brittany and Dillon Callins. 2 sisters, Myra Ann Robinson of Savannah, Tennessee and Carolyn Joyce Wilson of Morris Chapel, Tennessee.

Jeff Walker

was born in Savannah, Tennessee on August 20, 1961 the son of Helen Joyce Austin Walker and the late Isaac Creed Walker. On August 17, 1990 he was united in marriage to the former Susan Denise Williams. Mr. Walker worked as a meter reader for the Tennessee Valley Electrical Cooperative. He was a member of Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mr. Walker was also a member of the Moose Lodge, where he served as Governor.

He departed this life on September 4, 2006 at the Perry Community Hospital in Linden, Tennessee at the age of 45 years and 15 days.

Ricky Myrick

formerly of Savannah, departed this life on Monday, July 14, 2008 in Birmingham, Ala. He had made his home in Dacula, Ga. for 20 years. He was a family man and loving father. He was an independent truck driver and traveled the United States. He was the son of Clara DeShazier Myrick and Walter Myrick. He leaves his wife, Laurie Ryan, and two children, Jessie and Jamie of Dacula, Ga.; a son, Blake Myrick of Salt Lake City, Utah, in the Air Force, a daughter, Brandi and husband Jeremy Watkins of Lutts, Tenn. He leaves two grandchildren, Garrett and Brianna Watkins; three sisters, Kathy Crotts, Peggy Moore and Wanda Haynes; two brothers, Thomas Myrick and Jerry Myrick; his loving mother, Clara Myrick Davis, all of Savannah; lots of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Myrick; a brother, Larry Myrick; and a sister, Rita Neill. (auto accident, not confirmed)

Taylor Davis

48, of Henderson, Tenn., died Monday, Aug. 3, in Jackson, Tenn. He was born in Savannah, the son of the late David Smith and Hazel Agnes Taylor Davis. Mr. Davis was a printer for Chester County Independent. He was a member of the NRA. He is survived by one brother, Robert S. Davis of Savannah. Services were held on Thursday, Aug. 6, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Eric Jones officiating. Burial was in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.
